How it's calculated
Days = End date − Start date (+1 if you include the end date)

Worked example
From Monday, November 2 to Friday, November 6, 2026: 4 days apart, or 5 days counting both, all of them business days.
Common questions
Should I include the end date?
For "how many days until," leave it off. For "how many days does this event last" (a hotel stay excluded), include it so both the first and last day count.
Does it handle leap years?
Yes. February 29 is counted in leap years, so 2024 had 366 days.
